形態特徵

Stemless annuals.
leaves radical, linear, ribonlike, glabrous, 1.5-7.5 cm long, 1-2 mm wide, apex attenuate, 4 or 5-nerved; peduncles numerous, glabrous, 6-17 cm long, (4-)5(-6)-ribbed, twisted, sheath tubular, bladeless, glabrous, 1-2.5 cm long, apex oblique; heads obovoid to subglobose, 3-5 mm long, 3-4 mm in diam.; involucral bracts obovate, membranaceous, pale brown, glabrous, apex obtuse to rounded, folded inward, 1.5-2 mm long, 1 mm wide; receptacle pilose; floral bracts oblong to lanceolate-oblong, apex acute, base cuneate, 2.5 mm long, 0.6-0.7 mm wide, membranaceous, hyaline, glabrous or with sparse white clavate hairs on back, midrib pale brown or black.
Staminate flowers: calyx spathe like, open on one side, ellipsoid, 2 mm long, 0.6 mm wide, apex trilobate, black, with white clavate hairs apically, central lobe sometimes folded inward; corolla tubular, trilobate, with white clavate and glandular hairs apically; anthers 6, pale-yellowish, filaments opposite corolla lobes longer than others. Pistillate flowers: sepals 2 or 3, free, filiform, lateral ones 1 mm long, central one absent or 0.7 mm long, margin pilose; petals none; ovary 3-locular, glabrous; stigmas 3, shorter than style.
Seeds broadly ovoid, 0.3-0.4 mm long, pale brown, transverse reticulate, without appendages.
